Trial

Recommends a trial about a month or two ahead of your wedding. Wear something that gives you the look and feel of being polished and pretty and get a better feel for how things will read on your wedding day by wearing something similar to the colour of your dress.

Wash your hair, using usual hair wash routine. Wash your hair the night before will allow the moisture in your hair to balance, and create a very slight build-up of natural oils that won’t look greasy. But will help your hairstyle to stay in place all day long.

Avoid sleeping on wet hair, as this can make your hair sit flat and give stubborn cowlicks. If your hair is very oily or thin, it’s ideal to wash your hair the day of the styling. Don’t use moisture masks and heavy conditioners. Don’t get keratin treatments. Don’t see a new stylist for a haircut or colour too soon before your wedding.
